Will the cover fade?
All our outdoor covers have special treatments to slow down fading from UV rays. However, over time, you may see some colour fade. The main purpose of the cover is to block UV rays from the item underneath.
If I buy more than one cover, will they all be the same colour?
Ready-made outdoor covers may not always match in colour. Many metres of fabric are used, and they may come from different dye batches. This can lead to some colour differences.
Are your covers fully waterproof?
We have tested our fabric for water resistance, but we do not call our covers “waterproof.” All covers are stitched, which creates small holes. Water can get through these areas.
The fabric has a 1200mm waterproof treatment, but this can wear off with sun and weather exposure. Water pooling can also damage the waterproof treatment. If your cover gets wet, make sure water can run off by raising it at low points. You can use cushions, small pots, or children's toy balls for this.
Also, 303® Fabric Guard is a great product to help your fabric covers last longer. It works well on cushions, umbrellas, awnings, and carpets. How much bigger can I go for a good fit?
As a rule, you can go up to 30cm bigger in length or width for a cover to fit well. A larger cover is easier to put on and take off. You can adjust the straps for a better fit.
What if I can't find a cover for my table and chair sizes?
If you have space on your patio, you can pull chairs out to fit an oversized table cover. It is easier to use larger covers for big furniture.
What if the cover is too tall?
Coverworld's Premium Outdoor Furniture Covers have elastic in the bottom seams. You can fold any excess fabric neatly under the furniture. For example, a modular chair cover can fit a small coffee table if the table is 40cm tall and the cover is 75cm tall. If the ground is wet or holds moisture, the cover may be affected.
What if I can't find a cover with the right width?
If you have extra length, it can make up for the width you lack. The corners may not sit perfectly, but the cover will still protect the furniture. In these cases, choose a larger size or contact us for help.
Instructions
- The warranty period commences from the date of your order. Wear and tear caused by usage is not covered by warranty and over time, the covers will change their overall appearance from the effects of weather and UV exposure. In order to prolong the lifespan of the cover, Cleaning and Care instructions must be followed.
- Modifications made to covers, and effects from extreme weather conditions, are not covered by warranty.
- The lifespan of the cover will be determined by weather conditions and care taken. Do not allow water to remain pooled on the cover.
- The material has had 1200mm water-proofing treatment conducted which will become diminished from prolonged UV and weather exposure.
