When choosing the size cover please measure your actual furniture to find the best fitting cover. All of our covers sizes detailed are 50mm longer and wider than size detailed as you need an allowance of 50mm on each side for fitting the cover. The heights detailed are the actual cover heights
Example, a modular sofa cover designed to fit 800mm (L) x 800mm (W) x 720mm (H) the actual covers dimensions are 850mm x 850mm so we have made the allowance for the fitting of the covers.
The photos on the Coverworld website illustrate that when choosing a cover it is okay to have a cover that is larger than your actual furniture item being covered.
As a guide excess in cover size of 300mm on any size length or width. When covering large items such as tables with chairs you can pull the chairs out from the table in order to make the cover.
Our ready made covers are manufactured from a woven polyester fabric which has a PU coating on the inside to help stop water penetrating the fabric. The fabric will not adsorb water like the fabric does of clothing.
If your patio furniture is subjected to some water / rain then it will not soak through the fabric but instead run off the of the fabric. If the covers are subjected to constant pressure from water / rain then they will eventually become wet. If your patio furniture is fully exposed to the weather and you intend to keep your furniture for many years we recommend getting a quote on a custom made cover for which we have 100% waterproof fabrics
Custom Made Covers are available in a range of Materials and Colour Choices
Our ready made covers have some UV resistance built into the fabric but they are not made from the most expensive UV resistant materials. We do however make our custom covers from exceptionally UV resistant fabric which we recommend getting a quote for if your patio furniture is likely to be exposed to a lot of UV rays
