Can I use my stormcover for long term storage purposes?
Yes, as long you are putting the stormcover onto a clean dry vehicle, but if you put the stormcover onto a wet vehicle it will trap moisture and will cause condensation. Also if you put the stormcover onto a dirty dusty car and leave it for extended periods of time then the dust can scratch the car.

Can you make Stormcover's for any vehicle?
Yes we can make stormcover's for any Car we have patterns for many vehicles but in some cases we will request a photo with some measurements from you in order to make a new pattern.

How thick is the foam padding?
We use a 4mm foam padding for the inner layer of all stormcover's, we cannot use a foam any thicker than this because the stormcover would then be unmanageable, we offer the best level of protection that we can within the limits of being practical. A Stormcover will take up between 30-50% of your car boot space.

Is the Stormcover totally waterproof?
With the 2 layers combined the cover is totally waterproof. The outer layer is a tough UV laminated poly fabric and the inner foam layer is 100% waterproof, the soft inner lining will not scratch your vehicle, but because the temperate is so variable in Australia with different heats and coolness we reccomend that you remove your car Stormcover approximately once a month, however the foam lining does create an insulating barrier and customers have left thier coevrs on tier vehicles for extended time periods without any negative results. Where there are seams that are stitched in very heavy rain very small trickles of water might pass through the two outer protective layers into the seam and then onto the vehicle but this is a small amount of water which will quickly fall off of the vehicle, it would also be on the outer edge and notbecome trapped onto the body of the car.

Do you Guarantee against Hail damage?
No we dont, we do not know what size hail will fall from teh sky so we cannot offer a Hail Guarantee but our own tests have shown to be 100% effective against golf ball sized hail and there were very minor dents when for Cricket ball sized hail tests, we froze water bombs over night and dropped them 4 stoerys ointo the roof of a car to do our own testing
